OUR STORY

Solid Rock is a United Pentecostal Church that features a friendly atmosphere, dynamic worship, anointed preaching, and relevant ministries that target everyone. Children, young people, single adults, married couples, and senior adults alike can find a place to belong. We welcome people from all stages of life. Solid Rock is a place where your family can become a part of our family!

Solid Rock was founded in 1980 asNew Life UPC. During this time, the church would gather at the local YMCA to worship. It was not until 1983 the property on which the current church stands was
purchased. It had just a small building where the local congregation would worship. In 1987, the name was changed from New Life UPC to Solid Rock UPC. It is also in this year that the current church building was built.  In May of 1994, Rod Carpenter was elected as the new Pastor.  In 2014, Richard A. Ortegon was voted in as Associate Pastor and will serves under Senior Pastor Rod Carpenter.  We also have two Assistant Pastors. They are Matthew Sedgwick and Isaiah Vallejo.
